Happiness

I am once again on Stumble Upon and I came across a great quote. At the same time my room mate was listening to Nella Fantasia, also known as Gabriel's Oboe.

Take a listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LxSjdetqtBY

The quote said...
"We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have." -Frederick Keonig

This quote rings true for me. Right now I have been the happiest I have ever been. Everything is going right and even the things that are not panning out how I want them, I know that they are happening for a reason.

First, I have amazing friends. I am thankful to have a diverse and wide range of friends. I have a close group of friends that are still together since freshmen year of college. We lost some in our group, but we are still all close and I see all of them being very good friends for life.

Then how can I forget my friends from high school. Even though there are only a few of you, just know that I will always be there for you no matter what and that you bring happiness into my life. I am just a phone call or text message away from being there for you.

Next, there are my fellow public relations friends. I can not have picked a better major. Not only do I love what I do and what I will be doing, but you guys are great.. You guys make me laugh, feel as if we are all family and just the bond you can not describe about things.

Finally, there is that one certain person in my life that just makes me happy. Your truly bring happiness into my life and every moment we are together I filled with euphoria. There are many happy days filled ahead.

This is what I ask all of you... what is the thing that makes you happy? Dig deep down inside and I want you to think of something that brings happiness into your life. We all have something, but it is if we recognize it or not.
